Draft behavior while editing
- Saved draft content now reopens automatically when you return to a post.
- The editor requests fresh post and draft data while you work, which helps avoid stale versions.
- If draft save fails, the editor now shows the returned error so you can fix access or validation issues quickly.
- If a post draft changes in another tab or session, Hiveality tries to save a recovery copy automatically so you have another restore point before reloading.
Shared draft editing
- If someone else is editing the post, it opens in View-only mode until they hand it off or you reload the latest draft.
- Use the collaboration status pill to see whether the post is in Editing, View-only, Waiting, Paused, or Conflict.
- Open the collaboration status panel to see who is here now, whether another session is actively editing or only viewing, and when someone was last active.
- Choose Request editing when you want the current editor to pass the draft to you.
- If you receive a request, use the checkpoint handoff option to save a recovery copy and pass the latest draft. Choose Keep editing if you want to stay in control of the post for now.
- Open the collaboration status panel to send quick notes, review short message previews, and dictate a message before you send it.
- If your workspace allows it and the post stays stuck in Waiting, use Force takeover to move editing access to your session.
Version history for posts
- Open Version History to preview Saved Draft, Snapshot, and Live Version entries.
- Restore Content brings back the title, featured media, and body content while keeping your current post settings.
- Restore All brings back the full post state, including categories, tags, CTAs, and other saved settings, into the current draft.
Manage posts from the list
- Use Search posts... to filter by title or slug.
- Each post shows its status: draft, published, or scheduled.
- Open the Settings menu to:
- Edit
- View (published posts only)
- Delete
