Select Access
Choose the Access tab.
Visibility & Access
Course Visibility
Choose who can access the course:
- Public - Anyone can see and enroll
- Community - Only community members
- Premium - Paid access only
- Private - Invitation only
Require Enrollment
Toggle Require Enrollment to force students to enroll before viewing lessons.
Allow Guest Preview
Enable Allow Guest Preview to let visitors preview content without enrolling.
Communities (where this course appears)
Use the multi-select picker to choose which communities show the course in their Courses tab.
- Click the field to open the list.
- Use Search communities... to filter.
- Select multiple communities.
- Remove a community by clicking the × next to its pill.
This also controls which communities appear in the lesson Discuss picker.
Published catalog behavior
- Courses assigned only to private communities stay out of the public published catalog.
- If a course is assigned to both public and private communities, visitors only see the public communities on the course card.
- Signed-in members still see courses tied to communities they belong to when browsing the combined catalog view.
- If you want a course to stay visible to all visitors, leave it unassigned or attach it to at least one public community.
Access Control
Sequential Completion
Turn on Sequential Completion to force lessons to be completed in order.
Minimum Completion Percentage
Set a Minimum Completion Percentage (50–100%) to mark a course as complete.
Completion Certificate
Enable Completion Certificate to award a certificate when students finish the course.
