Layout controls

  • Regular Page Width: controls the default row container width for standard website pages when a row stays in Layout mode.
  • Compact Width: controls the max width used when a row is switched to Compact.
  • Mobile Row Inset: controls the left and right breathing room used by rows that turn on Mobile Inset for smaller screens.
  • Blog Width: controls the blog content width used on post pages and blog-focused rows.
  • Reset to defaults: restores 1100px (regular pages), 880px (compact rows), 20px (mobile inset), and 740px (blog).

Allowed ranges

  • Regular Page Width: 800px to 1800px
  • Compact Width: 520px up to your current regular page width (max 1600px)
  • Mobile Row Inset: 0px to 40px
  • Blog Width: 520px to 1200px

Tips

  • In the page editor, hover a row and cycle its width control between Layout, Full, and Compact. See Editing Pages.
  • Use Compact Width with Responsive Design when you want card-style sections that still collapse naturally on smaller screens.
  • Start with desktop readability first, then validate breakpoints in Responsive Design.
  • If your text feels too stretched on large screens, reduce page width before changing typography.
